Privacy Policy

Contact form. If you submit the email field in the "Let's build something scalable" section, that address is sent directly to a transactional email provider (Resend) and delivered to Smit Joshi's inbox as a lead notification. Your address is also set as the reply-to so a response can reach you. This site does not store your submission in a database — there is no persistence layer behind the form, only an outbound email.

Infrastructure logs. This site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare processes standard request metadata (such as IP address and browser type) at the edge to serve pages, cache assets, and protect against abuse. This happens for every request to every site on Cloudflare and is outside this site's direct control; see Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for details on how it handles that data.

No analytics or advertising cookies. This site does not currently run any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts, and does not set cookies for those purposes.

The only information voluntarily submitted through this site — a contact email address — is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is not added to a mailing list, sold, rented, or shared with any third party other than the email provider needed to deliver the message.

This site relies on a small number of infrastructure providers to operate:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and edge security.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for the contact form.

Each provider processes data only as necessary to perform that function and maintains its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on its platform.

Because contact form submissions are relayed as email rather than stored in a database, retention is governed by however long the resulting email is kept in Smit Joshi's inbox and in Resend's delivery logs, typically for as long as needed to respond to and keep a record of the conversation.

You're never required to submit any information to browse this site — the contact form is entirely optional. If you'd like a previous message or reply deleted, reach out through the contact form and reference the original request.

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to the site or its underlying services. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
